Jana Aliston 6

Jana Aliston is a fire mage in the game World of Warcraft.

Jana has been my main for most of my time in WoW, and she is probably my most beloved character. I always find myself returning to her. She has the richest background, and I think she's the deepest, most complex character I play.

You might note a slight resemblance between this drawing and "Jana Aliston 5" ([link]), my last drawing of her. I kept the same pose and generally same clothing, but I was using the shading techniques I developed in my previous three drawings versus the "paint by number" approach in the previous drawing. I think this one turned out much better, and I was able to add some of the fire I wanted in the first drawing but couldn't figure out how to do.

For what it's worth, Jana is supposed to be 5'11" and weigh 180 pounds. She's pretty big. I have no idea if this drawing actually conveys this, because it's rather hard to find a reference for someone exactly that weight. But I hoped to convey the fullness of her character, so to speak.
